- Reduce illiteracy and build capacity, and advance equity in the general welfare of her members.
- Inculcate the spirit of tolerance, good morals, hard work, self esteem, self-actualization, innovation, and creativity, into her members.
- Enshrine service as mobilization for meaningful contribution toward development of the motherland.
- Promote bilateral cooperation with Liberian communities and/or associations in other countries and formulate and maintain cultural, social, political and economic development of her members, provided it does not contradict constitutional provisions.

OLiCON envisions a future where Liberians in Nigeria are well-supported, well-represented,
culturally grounded, economically empowered, and positioned to serve as a bridge of
cooperation and goodwill between the Republic of Liberia and the Federal Republic of
Nigeria.
